Building Poem

Teenager
outgoing, youthful
growing, developing, changing
slowly becoming more mature
Adult

Alphabet Poem

Teeth chattering

Heavy breathing

Racing heart

Intensive shivering

Lack of focus

Lack of stillness

Shaking uncontrollably

Haiku Poems

Radiant, hot sun
strongly beats down upon you.
There is no escape.

Bright autumn colors
vibrantly blow in the wind
whisking across Earth.

Five Sense Poem

Happiness is pink.
It sounds like children’s laughter.
It feels like a blanket of sunshine laid upon your shoulders.
It smells like newly baked chocolate chip cookies.
It tastes like cold, wet lemonade sliding down your throat.

Three Word Poem

Breeze, cloud, sprinkle
cloud, sprinkle, rain
sprinkle, rain, pour
rain, pour, thunder
pour, thunder, lightning
thunder, lightning, FLASH.

Rhetorical Question Poem

I wonder if they like being roads.
I suppose they don’t.
Always being walked on,
hardly every being cleaned.
They are never ending,
and are usually very confusing.
Plus, they are many people’s trash cans.
